It’s a whole different world. Just like as if you are in the movie! The fumarole and rough lava in front of you give you a feeling like none other. Vast amazing landscapes with a view from the top that is incredible!
Available only from April to November. Limited experience! (You can’t hike in winter because of snowing and close the gate.)
In May, you can enjoy beautiful an azalea. In November, you can enjoy colorings in the leaves. Other seasons also, they are always full of beautiful nature.
You can enjoy amazing scenery and explore a kind of different world!
Schedule
Pick you up at your accommodation or preferable place in Hakodate→1 hour drive you to Mt. Esan
→Hike along the mountain path to the peak. Enjoy the scenery along the way.
→Break at top for a snack and photos
→Hike down the mountain
→1 hour drive back to Hakodate
→Drop you back at your accommodation or preferable place in Hakodate
→Tour ends
Time: 5 hours (Hiking in 3 hours / travel time in 2 hours round trip from Hakodate)

This is an outdoor hike so please wear comfortable clothes and sneakers which you would not mind getting dirty.Please note that there is a possibility of a cancellation due to bad weather.
